The Challenge

With a strict timeline in place, Fount was tasked with supporting Ceterus’ core engineering team, developing new web and mobile experiences, and creating new data visualization reports while the Ceterus core team built new API infrastructure.

The Solution

Native iOS & Android apps in addition to a brand-new Ceterus Edge web application which allows users to access dashboards, reports, & benchmark their performance against their industry.

Ceterus-Fount-Project

The Challenge

After raising their Series A and launching a web solution, Ceterus Edge, the Ceterus team began experiencing rapid growth. The demand for a mobile solution became a common request from customers. While the core development team focused on the transition to a microservice architecture, Ceterus approached Fount to assist with the development of a v2 of their web application and native iOS/Android mobile applications.

Ceterus provided the Fount team with with interactive mockup designs of the mobile applications and redesigned web application. We put together a crew of both Senior Full Stack Engineers and Native Mobile App Developers to engineer the web application and mobile applications, respectively.

The Solution

The Fount crews worked in parallel while focusing on both projects. The web application was re-engineered to be more performant and offer a responsive user interface that responds beautifully to user actions. Reporting & dashboards were a large focus for the new web application design, so contextual awareness was a priority. A focus on fluid data visualization was added to support the display of various graphs.

Since the amount of raw data for a customer can be overwhelming, the teams focused on presenting customer metrics in an organized approach. Further, the user is encouraged to explore the different aspects of the applications with dead-simple navigation controls and data filtering. Performance of the apps are improved by in-session caching, so a user can effortless navigate the app throughout the day.
